Brain Health
Brain health and wellness is just as important as our physical health. NICC provides a variety of affordable training to improve brain health in the workplace and the community. CPR and First Aid
Since 1998, Northeast Iowa Community College has been an official American Health Association (AHA) Emergency Cardiovascular Care Training Center. The College offers courses to become certified in CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Dental
Business and Community Solutions offers dental professionals several continuing education opportunities including dental radiography, infection control and jurisprudence. Courses are offered face-to-face and online, meet the mandates set forth by the Iowa Dental Board, and review safety standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Business and Community Solutions provides quality, affordable training to start a career in emergency medicine or maintain certification and endorsements. Our annual Tri-State Emergency Responders Conference provides quality information, dynamic presenters and exhibitors for regional fire and EMS professionals at an affordable cost.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training can be completed in six months or less and prepares you for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam. We also offer continuing education courses to recertify Iowa EMS Instructor and Iowa EMS Evaluator endorsements.
Paramedic training builds on your EMS skills for a comprehensive understanding of advanced patient assessment, airway procedures, pharmacology and medication administration to treat various trauma emergencies.
