Northeast Iowa Community College has a long standing reputation for graduating highly trained, exceptional health care providers. In fact, our Health Information Technology program has been ranked 21st in the nation, the practical nursing program was ranked first in the state of Iowa and we are the only community college in Iowa with nationally accredited one- and two-year nursing programs. Simulation Labs

“Experiential learning” plays a vital role in developing solid clinical and critical thinking skills. The College's Health Simulation Laboratories are utilized by medical professionals and our students in the paramedic, EMT, respiratory care, nursing and medical assisting programs.
