Gainful Employment Programs
Federal regulations require colleges and universities to report certain information about the success of students who enroll in educational programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized field. While all of NICC's programs are designed to lead to either employment or college transfer, the U.S. Department of Education requires the disclosure of information for programs that are one-year or less in length (e.g. diploma or certificate programs).
At NICC we understand that students and families should be prepared for college and informed of the employment opportunities before starting a program. We recommend working closely with your advisor as well as our Career Services Office to guide you in your program decision.
