Choosing Your Program

If you have not yet decided on your program, you are not alone; many students at Northeast Iowa Community College are still exploring their options. Here are two different routes to determining your program:

1. Some students have many interests and have trouble narrowing down their choices to one career path or one program of study. By determining the area in which you’d like to work, choosing your program of study will become clearer to you.

2. Other students know what career area they are interested in, but are not yet ready to commit to a specific program of study. Work with Career Services and your academic advisor to research programs of study and how they can prepare you for a career in that field. The College has programs in a wide range of areas, including:
