Hall of Fame

The Northeast Iowa Community College Foundation celebrates the College’s outstanding alumni bi-annually in two Hall of Fame celebrations, one on each of our main campuses. The 2023 Hall of Fame events will be held November 16 on the Calmar Campus and November 14 on the Peosta Campus, both beginning at 5 p.m.

The Alumni Hall of Fame award is presented to a Northeast Iowa Community College graduate of a NICC certificate, diploma or degree program who has excelled in personal and professional endeavors beyond graduation. The nominee must have made significant achievement in their career, received awards and recognition throughout their career and has shown community service/volunteer involvement outside of their regular work responsibilities. 

Be proud! Nominate yourself or someone you know as an outstanding alum or retiree. All nominees will be considered for the Alumni Hall of Fame award or Alumni Shining Stars spotlight story feature.

The Hall of Fame celebration will also recognize an Outstanding Retiree Service Award recipient. This award is presented to a Northeast Iowa Community College retiree who celebrates career long achievements and loyalty to the College and northeast Iowa recognizing those whose dedication, commitment and efforts rise above and beyond.

Legacy Society

In addition, the NICC Foundation will honor those Legacy Society donors who gave a charitable planned gift that provides a lasting legacy for the future of the College.
