Spring Break Service Trip Informational Meeting (Peosta)

Join NICC for our 14th Annual Spring Break Service Trip! This year, we are venturing to Nashville, TN to share our time and talents.

Before and after our working hours conclude, participants will be given the opportunity to experience Nashville and the surrounding areas culture, food and sites. Group activities may include the Grand Ole Opry, Leadership/Teambuilding and a Zipline.

At the meeting you will learn about the trip and applications will be available.

To participate, applicants must:

• Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Spring 2024 semester and be in good academic standing.
• Students are expected to participate in NICC travel plans.
• Turn in the application by Jan. 24 at Noon.
• Participate in a short interview regarding the trip.  Interviews will begin on January 25th  and participants will be chosen by Friday, Feb. 2.

Approximately 16 students total will be chosen from the Calmar and Peosta campuses. Cost of the trip is $250.00. If you are selected to participate, you will be required to give a $100.00 non-refundable deposit on February 9th. An additional $150 in either personal funds and/or individual/group fundraisers will be needed to cover the cost of the trip (see below).  Also, you will need to provide additional spending money for entertainment, food and other activities not provided through NICC.
