​Join us for a cup of hot chocolate and a drop-in demonstration of the portable induction cooktop and cookware available for check out through the library. Induction uses electromagnetic currents to heat up the cookware and is more energy efficient, which means faster cooking times and lower energy bills. We will do a low stakes, low drama competition with a non-induction portable cooktop using an infrared thermometer and a kill-a-watt meter to see which pot of cocoa is ready sooner!
