Quality Faculty Plan
Individuals interested in teaching at Northeast Iowa Community College must meet the minimum faculty standards which are set by the Iowa Department of Education. In the first three years of teaching, NICC faculty must meet the minimum requirements of the Quality Faculty Plan initial credentialing process. After initial credentialing, faculty are required to receive at least sixty (60) hours of professional development every five years in order to renew their credentials.
NICC faculty members meet these requirements in order to provide students with a quality educational experience facilitated by faculty members who are qualified in their field of study.
