“I am very happy with the Spring season,” reflected Coach Anthony Sisneros. “It was such a cold and wet start to the Spring, it made it difficult to get practice in. Meets were cold and windy as well, but our student athletes adjusted and showed improvement. Graduates Leo Balk and Tommy Pecinovsky were a great asset to our program in the time they were here, and they will be missed. We want to thank them for their participation and leadership and wish them the best in their new endeavors. The rest of our team will be back and we are looking forward to a good number of new student athletes. I am excited for the numbers on the team next Fall.”
Spring season highlights also include: Christian Schwickerath, 2nd Place Men’s Individual at the SCTP State Championships on April 25; and competitions at the Iowa Central Invitational on April 7 in Fort Dodge and the Hawkeye Redtail Invitational on April 14.
