Community invited to Max Clark Hall Renovation Open House May 16

Northeast Iowa voters’ passage of the College’s $39 million bond levy in 2018 made renovations of Max Clark possible.
CALMAR, Iowa—Northeast Iowa Community College invites all community members to attend an open house celebrating completed renovations of Max Clark Hall on the Calmar campus. The event will be held on Monday, May 16, from 3-5 p.m., with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony in the second floor center solarium at 3:30 p.m.
The community is invited to tour the newly renovated facility and refreshments will be served. The approximately $6.1M construction project included updates and improvements to nursing and allied health labs, computer labs and classrooms, new common areas for students and a welcoming redesigned entrance.
Northeast Iowa voters’ passage of the College’s $39 million bond levy in 2018 made renovations of Max Clark possible. The bond levy focused on four main areas including improving infrastructure, enhancing security, updating technology and creating innovative and collaborative learning spaces through the NICC district.
