Community Organization and Wellness Fair at NICC showcased local resources and businesses

The fair was a great opportunity for students and community members to discover wellness options, find an internship, visit with employers, inquire about job opportunities, explore volunteer options and learn about local businesses and organizations.

PEOSTA–Northeast Iowa Community College hosted its annual Community Organization and Wellness Fair at the Peosta campus on Aug. 31. The free public event showcased the resources and services of nearly 50 local organizations and businesses. 

The fair was a great opportunity for students and community members to discover wellness options, find an internship, visit with employers, inquire about job opportunities, explore volunteer options and learn about local businesses and organizations. The College extends its gratitude to all organizations participating in the event.

Organizations participating in the fair included McCoy Group - Truck Country, AccessDubuqueJobs.com, AmeriCorps Partners in Learning, Crescent Community Health Center, University of Dubuque Recreation Department, Fidelity Bank & Trust, Proteus, Hillcrest Family Services, NICC Counseling, Clarke University Admissions and Sedona Staffing Services, Bimbo Bakeries USA, Colony Brands, Inc., Lifting Students Higher, Zero Zone Inc., Area Residential Care, NICC Esports, Amazon, NICC Student Veterans and Sundown Mountain Ski Resort.
