Northeast Iowa Community College launched two new intercollegiate Esports programs in fall 2022 at the Calmar and Peosta campuses. NICC competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE), along with over 170 community colleges.
NICC’s new Esports programs will include men and women in video game competition with other institutions across the nation. Games for 2023-2024 include: CoD: MWIII, Rocket League, Madden 23 (Ps5), SSBU, Valorant, and Overwatch 2.
