NICC Vice President for Finance and Administration, David Dahms, named acting President

Dahms joined NICC as vice president August 2015 and has led the College’s administration and financial operations.

NORTHEAST IOWA–Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) has named current Vice President for Finance and Administration, David Dahms, acting President.

During this period, the College remains committed to maintaining its normal operations and upholding its mission of serving our students and community. The NICC Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and administration are dedicated to the continued smooth operation of the College.

“We believe strongly in Dave’s leadership and integrity and know he will provide strong leadership to Northeast Iowa Community College during this time,” stated NICC Board of Trustees President Jim Anderson.

Dahms joined NICC as vice president August 2015 and has led the College’s administration and financial operations. He previously served as vice president of finance and CFO for both Sinclair and Precision Equipment, where he was responsible for serving on the executive leadership team and provided oversight for all accounting, information technology, legal and risk management. Prior to 2007 Dahms served as corporate treasurer and vice president of finance for Bandag and Bridgestone/Bandag in Muscatine, where he had global responsibilities for financial services, treasury, legal and risk management.
